Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan’s elder son Junaid Khan is all set to make his much-awaited debut in the Hindi entertainment industry. Having grown up away from the flashing lights of the paparazzi and media, he has been making waves on social media for his amazing physical transformation. While details regarding his debut movie with YRF are still under wraps, it is now being reported that he has even bagged his second film.
Yes, you read that right! According to a report by Bollywood Life, the 30-year-old is all set to romance actress Sai Pallavi, who has predominantly worked in the South entertainment industry, specifically Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. As per the reports the makers of the romantic film have already spoken to the actress, who has loved the idea and is ready to make her Bollywood debut with the project. Currently in talks with the makers, she has even given them a nod. If the reports by the entertainment portal are to be believed, both the actors will soon start workshops for their upcoming flick. Talking about Junaid’s debut film, it is a project backed by YRF. The movie is reportedly based on the 1862 Maharaja libel case. A periodic drama, it will also star actress Sharvari Wagh in the lead role. Not only has he started shooting for the movie, but he will also be kick starting promotions for the same alongside filming for his social media content. For the unversed, Aamir has two kids with his first wife, Reena Dutta, son Junaid Khan and daughter Ira Khan. After his first divorce, Aamir got married again to Kiran Rao. The couple, who are now divorced, welcomed their son, Azad, through surrogacy in 2011.
On the work front, Aamir Khan was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan. The film was based on Tom Hanks’ much-acclaimed 1994 movie Forrest Gump. Unfortunately, despite the initial hype and excitement, the movie failed to impress the audience and critics alike. He also had a cameo role in Kajol and Vishal Jethwa starrer Salaam Venky. The actor is currently on a sabbatical enjoying his time with his family.
